Biography:
This is my 4th year being the WHS JV Coach. I grew up in Seattle and lived most of my life there, except from 1993-2005 when I lived in Beaverton. The past 4 years I have lived in Wilsonville. Basketball has always been my passion. I got my Physical Education degree from Central Washington University, with my main intention being to coach basketball and teach at the same time. Teaching was difficult to get into a the time and so I took a job in the furniture industry and am still there. I started coaching youth basketball when I was 21 years old and have coached approximately 35 seasons. I started off coaching boys basketball, including my son, and switched over to girls just about half way through my coaching career. I have also coached football and baseball in the past. I have coached at the HS level for about 17-18 years including 2 seasons as a Varsity coach in Seattle. I love teaching the game and teaching life's lessons along the way. I have 2 adult sons that played college sports and 2 grandchildren who live right across the street from me. My son, Jacob also helps coach with me at WHS and my other son, Sam lives in Beaverton.
